Should the City be able to patrol a state highway with unqualified officers?

  1. Byrnes Mill has had bad cops working for them for a long time and still do.I don't think they should be allowed to have a police department much less patrol a state highway. They can not be trusted and do not serve in the best intrest of the people that have to drive on Hwy 30 and W.

  2. The City has at least two officers that were fired from the Jefferson Co. Police Dept still working there. They are NOT qualified in my opinnion.

  3. I know someone who was in a car accident and Roger Ide was the cop that showed up to work the wreck. His report was horribly wrong, when asked to correct it he refused and told one of the accident victims they did not know what they talking about. A young lady was hurt in the wreck,so you would think they would try to get the facts straight to protect people involved. This guy should not be a cop,he was fired from Jeff Co PD. That is Byrnes Mills finest.

  4. The officers they have are at the bottom of the barrel. They can't get jobs anywhere else or they have already been fired from everywhere else. They are very unprofessional and need to stay off the highways and leave the police work to the pros.

They have 4 full time and 4 part time cops, two of the full time cops were fired from JCPD. One was fired for his part in a bar fight in House Springs were he and some cop buddies beat someone up,the other one for poor conduct.Do you feel safe with this kind of police on are highways? Then there is about 10 reserves who work for free to keep their certifications, thats right part time and reserves responsible for upholding the law and making shure that your rights are protected. So NO they should NOT be able to patrol anything but their City streets.

Byrnes Mill is nothing moore than a speed trap. They pay their bills from money they make handing out tickets on highway 30. I heard they are trying to get highway 30 all the way to Wallmart in High Ridge. They are trying to raise more revenue from annexing so they can write more tickets. The more revenue they bring in the more tickets they can write. They will never be known for anything but the town nobody wants to drive through. We would go out to eat at the mexican place once a week but quit when I found out that it was located inside the city limits. I will not spend my money in that city. NO THEY SHOULD NOT.
