  1. It is a shame the city allows such a thing to happen,I have lived in house springs all my life and hate to see what the city has done to all the people that have to drive through it.

  2. There is know way a person that went into a bar and beat someone up and then tried to cover their tracks should allowed to be a cop. Anybody that hires a person like that is just as bad. And from talking to some people that work for jeff county the other one was fired for steeling money or evidence.

  3. I heard the new one incharge telling someone that they were going to be writing more tickets on hwy 30 now that he was incharge, and he was going to keep the tow truck busy. The police need to go, I hope that if Charlie Snow runs for mayor he can get the police dept lined out or shut them down.

  4. The police dept is a joke, I have friends that are Jefferson Co. officers and they the BMPD is the big joke when it comes to officers. One is a theif and one is a guy that beats people up and can't remember if he shot his gun. Byrnes Mill should be proud.

  5. I was pulled over 2 weeks ago going west on hwy 30 at 1045 pm for not using my turn signal when I passed a car in front of me, the officer was very rude and kept asking me how much I had to drink. I told him that there was no car behind me so I did not feel it was nessasary to use my blinker, he told me it was the law. After he left I pulled out and continued down 30 into house springs, and guess what, the same cop that was a jerk to me turned on hwy W and did not use his blinker. What a jerk. I should have pulled him over and asked him how much he had to drink and explained the law to him. The Byrnes Mill police are the law breakers, they are a JOKE. I have no respect for them at all

  6. There is know way the city should have officers working for them that have that kind of background, THEY WERE FIRED FOR BREAKING THE LAW......

  8. I would like to know how many Byrnes Mill residents get tickets and DWIs from their cops ? I would bet that the great people that live at the lake don't have to worry about tickets. We need to get laws passed at the state level to stop small towns like this from funding their dreams off everybody else.

  9. We need to set up a Facebook page to warn people of the cops position, and inform people of their rights when they are stopped. People need to start using their smart phones to take pictures and record conversations from cops when stopped. The idea is to keep people safe and at the same time keep the city from making any revenue from the people on the state Hwy, and then maybe they will start giving tickets to the people that drive on city roads. They need ticket money to keep city running and to pay all their freeloaders.

  10. Ron you are right and that is a good idea. Also come election time remember who is the judge making money from their corrupt police dept and is also a judge in Hillsboro. There is know way he doesn't know what is going on in that City, SO THAT MAKES HIM NO BETTER. They are a money making machine.

  11. We need to start a Facebook page so people can post updates on where they are parked shooting radar and mabe even follow them around so we can catch them breaking the law. It's time to turn the tables on them, after all it's all about making the highways safe and making this a better place to live. Oh and as far as the judge goes, he has had to know about the corruption in the city and the police dept. I will do what I can to keep him from staying a judge in Jefferson Co.

  12. I see them breaking the law all the time, Not using turn signals, turning into McDonalds the wrong way and speeding on Hwy 30. The thief, I mean chief lives in Cedar Hill and fly's up and down Hwy 30 at speeds well over 80 mph with no lights or sirens on and he is outside the city limits he works in. He is a danger to the safety of people on the Hwy. I agree we need to start a Facebook page and alert people of their location, and take as many pictures and video when we see them breaking the law.

  13. Read the Nov 27th Hwy 30 community Leader Newspaper. Byrnes Mill police study. They say they have found some problems, REALY !!!!! They owe the people an apology not a excuse. The people that got tickets for doing no wrong need to paid back, people that got tickets from Ed Locke Jr need to be paid back, money that was paid to Ed JR while he was on probation and not allowed to work as a police officer needs to be paid back, the good ole boy system that is still in place needs to stop, the officers that have been fired for BREAKING THE LAW need to be removed. Then maybe just maybe the city can change the perception people have of them. From talking with people that live in Byrnes Mill it is well known about the free pass and the free pass is still going on. They sure don't want to piss off the Lake Montowese people.

  14. I was passed on the shoulder of the highway by a Byrnesmill Cop on Wednesday Dec 12 at 3:30 pm. He had no lights on or siren on and flew passed me at a high rate of speed, then I watched him pull someone over. He put everybody on the highway in danger just so he could get to that car and pull them over. The police Dept needs to go. Why don't they patrol their own streets ? They are a bad bunch and should be ashamed.

  15. What a horrible corrupt little town. It's just to bad they let all that stuff go on and keep hiring all those cops that are BAD APPLES. Everybody knows what is going on, they must all think we are stupid.

  16. I happened to be on Hwy 30 Friday and one of the Byrnes Mill cops flew past me at a very high rate of speed with no lights on or siren. They are dangerous and are going to kill someone. I' am afraid it will take someone being killed or injured to get the city to open their eyes to what their bad cops are doing. I hope that's not the case.

  17. They are always speeding on Hwy 30, not using turn signals and sitting on the side of the road at night with all of their lights off. That's not making the Hwy safe, that is just filling their coffers with money. We do not patronize
any business in Byrnes Mill. I feel sorry for the people that have to drive on that 2 or 3 miles of Hwy 30.

  18. If you see someone breaking the law or putting your safety in danger you should call 911. Those officers have to follow the law just like everybody else. Maybe the county and state will get tired of hearing about these jerks and start putting pressure on the City to change their ways.

  19. Byrnsmill police officer Roger Ide likes to pull women over and threaten them into giving him oral sex multiple times "he calls instalments" to get out of the trouble, how can this piece of shit keep getting away with this?
